Homemade breadsticks is a project that sounds intimidating, but in general, is one of the easiest baking projects you can take on. Make up a batch to munch on throughout the week, and another for when you plan on having company over for an evening relaxing with a bit of wine .

about 350 g flour ( mine was spelt)
70-80 ml sunflower oil (or extra virgin olive oil or butter)
120 ml white wine or water with 1 teaspoon of apple cider vinegar
10g sesame seeds, rosemary or herbs of your choice
2 pinches of salt
1 teaspoon baking powder bio
In a large bowl, combine the flour, the baking powder and 1 pinch of salt . Add the the oil and the white wine and mix until a coarse meal forms. Scrape the dough onto the table and gently knead until thoroughly blended . Pat the dough into a ball, wrap it up in plastic wrap and refrigerate about 15 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 160-180' C. On the parchment paper roll out the dough 0,5cm thick. Quickly cut the dough into 1-1,5 cm strips or squares.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds or herbs of your choice. Bake for about 15 minutes, until the crackers are golden brown. Transfer to a rack and let cool before serving or packaging.
