This easy recipe for cookies is perfect for baking with children.
Cookies with oats flakes and chocolate
100 ml of oats or kamut milk or other (120gr)
50 gr maple syrup
50 gr of coconut oil
10 gr of flax seed
1 teaspoon of cake yeast
1/2 vanilla berry
50 gr chocolate at 71%
100 gr oats flakes
120 gr of spelled flour or other
Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Combine the flour and the baking powder. In a blender combine the syrup, milk, coconut oil, flax seed, oats flakes and vanilla and whisk. Whip until smooth.
Fold into the dry mixture. Fold until smooth. Place dough in the freezer for at least ten minutes — this step is optional but will allow you to form more perfect balls of dough for “prettier” cookies. Roll cookie dough into balls and place 2 inches apart onto the prepared cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 for about 10-15 minutes. These cookies will firm up quite a bit as they cool. Remove the cookies from the oven, top each cookie with melt chocolate(on water bath) and chopped dried fruit and nuts.
